Our guest speaker this year will be Dr. Elizabeth Capaldi Evans from Bucknell University, on topics from her recent book "Why Do Bees Buzz? Fascinating Answers to Questions About Bees". A native of Warwick, RI, Dr. Evans studies invertebrate behavior, focusing on bees and how they learn.

Nominations are being accepted for officers of RIBA for the offices of President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Member- at-Large for RIBA in 2011-12. We must give The Pines a head count a week in advance in of the dinner, so members need to make reservations in advance. Please download, print, fill out and mail the registration form to our Treasurer Tony DiGiulio at the address listed in the form. Please indicate the number of people attending, so our head-count is accurate.
